Social outings are organised during the year for members, such as lunch at Challenger TAFE and Christmas lunch at a venue of choice. Volunteers are always welcome to join members for any of these outings.

IGNATIAN SPIRITUALITY:
Ignatius Loyola, 16th century saint, developed a way of personal spiritual growth based on finding God’s action in our own daily lives. Ignatian spirituality fosters an interior freedom facilitating good life decisions, something particularly relevant to modern women and men. The practice of Ignatian Spirituality has been likened to “a school of prayer”, “a school for discernment”, and a “school for loving action in the world.”

Within the Willetton parish you can access a Christian Life Community Group which meets fortnightly to further your spiritual life. You can also undertake to do the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius or do a retreat in daily life at home, that is based on Ignatian Spirituality. You may also wish to join Jesuit Volunteers in which you do three to four hours volunteer work each week with the disadvantaged and have a monthly gospel reflection on your work.

JOHN PAUL PRAYER MINISTRY
John Paul Prayer Ministry meets every Wednesday a 7:30 p.m. We are a group of people dedicated to praise and worship, prayer, study of Scripture, and sharing in giving.  Fr. Greg comes in to give us talks on Church history and we have fellowship once a month.

We have home cell groups in members' homes on a monthly basis where, in a smaller group setting, we are able to give testimony of God working in our lives, have a Bible study, pray and have fellowship, and get to know each other better.

We also have a Prayer Box in the Church foyer for anyone needing prayer. Prayer request forms are put right next to the box. Everyone is welcomed to write in their requests and these are prayed over by our team. Confidentiality is strictly adhered to. All are welcome.
